J. Cole seems to be closing off 2016 on a good note because his fourth studio album, 4 Your Eyez Only, has officially grabbed the no. 1 spot in the country on the Billboard 200 Album Charts. This will be the fourth no. 1 album of his career, and the third largest sales debut of 2016 following Beyonce’s Lemonade and Drake’s VIEWS. The project moved about 492,000 album copies on its first week and of those units sold, 363,000 copies were from physical album sales. 4 Your Eyez Only is also on course to break some streaming records too. Last week, the album hit 51.7 million streams, which is also the second-largest streaming debut ever for an album (behind Drake’s Views). Major!
