MTV Base has appointed Bonang Matheba as the host of the MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg 2016.
The gorgeous radio presenter, entrepreneur and media darling has stepped up to the plate after Trevor Noah was unfortunately forced to withdraw due to ill health. The news was officially announced by Trevor Noah on his Twitter account today.

The MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg 2016 will air live on MTV (DStv channel 130) and MTV Base (DStv channel 322) from the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg, tomorrow at 21:00 CAT.
