Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’ & ‘Endless’ Albums Get Disqualified From the GRAMMYs

Okay so its been reported that Frank Ocean’s sophomore studio LP Blonde and Endless will compete at the GRAMMY Awards. Apparently the albums are not eligible to be nominated.  Now according to Billboard, both projects were submitted by Ocean’s management and are not qualified for the awards regardless of how well they’ve been doing. Both albums dropped before the cutoff date of September 30 and received critical acclaim and commercial success. Blonde even debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 276,000 equivalent album units making it the third highest of the year and has also been illegally downloaded over 750,000 times. However a GRAMMYs representative has confirmed that the projects have not been submitted for consideration. Wack.
