Remember when Frank Ocean dropped that unexpected Endless visual album? Well that album apparently dropped to fulfill Def Jam & Universal’s required obligations and now since Frank Ocean’s Blonde is expected to sell about 225 to 250 thousand units in its first week, its been reported that he’s doing it all as an independent artist now. Blonde was actually self-released when it came less than 24 hours after Endless. Although Def Jam was listed in the credits of Endless, all the Blonde credits mentioned Boys Don’t Cry.
