Phife Dawg, of the legendary group A Tribe Called Quest, has reportedly passed away at the age of 45 and the exact cause of his death is currently unknown. Phife Dawg is said to have been battling health issues for the past couple of years, more specifically his battle with diabetes (which he got a kidney transplant for in 08 to help with the sickness). On social media, many of his peers and fellow artists have already payed their respects & condolences. And for those who don’t know who Phife Dawg was; he was born in Queens, where he became childhood friends with Q-Tip. They would go on to form the legendary group, A Tribe Called Quest. Although Phife Dawg was the underrated one of the group he was still recognized as a valuable member of the group.
