Timbaland Remixes The Daily Show Theme Song

Trevor Noah has officially put his mark on The Daily Show  by getting super producer Timbaland to team up with King Logan to produce a remixed version of The Daily Show theme song ‘Dog on Fire’ which debuted on January the 4th’s episode.

The theme song ‘Dog on Fire’ has been used since its premiere in 1996. Bob Mould created the original version of the theme, which was used during Craig Kilborn’s role as the host. When Jon Stewart took over in 1999 for his memorable run as host, They Might Be Giants recorded a new version of theme. The Daily Show continued to use Stewart’s version once Trevor Noah took over, but now Trevor’s new version was revealed for the first show of 2016.

And when you give Timbaland the chance to create a song for you, you definitely should expect a hip hop touch. Trevor Noah is definitely set on distinguishing himself from his predecessors.
