G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T has finally released his new Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude album. The project features 10 tracks, as well as a selected featured list of artists such as Kanye West, Kehlani, A$AP Rocky, Beanie Sigel, Jill Scott and The-Dream. On production Pusha worked with Timbaland, Kanye West, J. Cole, Boi-1da, Q-Tip and others. “I worked with the best producers and made them go to the darkest parts of their soul,” Pusha told Pitchfork in an interview.
The album is darkly themed as Pusha lyrically lashes out against american society on songs like ‘Sunshine’ which features the soulful Jill Scott, as well as ‘CCC’, which consists of Pusta T letting off some steam. Listen and purchase the album here.
