Reason’s Recently Released ‘Audio Redefinition’ Album Features AKA, Khuli, Kid X, Skwatta & More

Reason RD

Da L.e.s shares the release date for his 3rd studio solo album with Reason fourth, aptly titled Audio ReDefinition.

Almost exactly a year from the release of its predecessor Audio HD it is pretty impressive that Reazus already has a full body of work to put out. The previously released joints (‘TRVE’, ‘The Realest’, ‘YipiKaYay’, and ‘Brand New’) are in the company of some new ones, which serve to quench the hunger that detractors claim to have been missing from Reason’s more jiggy releases.

The album features an impressive roster of guest appearances; namely, Khuli Chana, Tweezy, Mashayabhuqe KaMamba, Kid X, AKA, Mr.Beef, Skwatta Kamp, BK, DJ Zan D, Ginger Trill, Stilo Magolide and Sakhekile).

The only slightly concerning thing to note is that even though the album artwork contains the Motif label, putting to rest the rumours that Reason had split from his label, record label owner and (former?) mentor Tumi Molekane hasn’t said a single thing about the album or its release. Instead, he took to social media today to congratulate and punt Da L.e.s’s album, on which he is featured. Both emcees have admitted to having some differences recently but we never imagined it would be as serious as forgetting that each other exist, especially for an occasion as monumental as an album release.

Alas, congratulations to “the god of the rhyme scheme” on the release on his album. It is officially available for purchase on iTunes.
