For those of you that are in tune with that street etiquette, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that collective Revivolution are still f*cking sh*t up creatively every chance they get. With an array of skill ranging from lyricists to design (Grime Town), skaters, directors and more in the crew, their latest visual offering is easily one of the most creative this year.
“Each rapper’s scene was designed to bring forward their personality and also designed to compliment and illustrate what is being said in their verses. The video is then coupled with rotoscope animation over the live footage – reminiscent of the drawing one would do in pen over photographs in magazines.”
‘NKM’ was filmed in locations all over Johannesburg including Marshall Town, Braamfontein, Arts On main, Melville, Zone 6 and more.
