In the August-September 2015 issue, Kid X told us in an interview that he album was almost ready and would be due for release sometime in 2015. Unfortunately, while in a Twitter Q&A later down the line, label boss and fellow rapper K.O told a fan that both X and MaE’s albums had been pushed back to 2016. But as it turns out, we are still getting a Kid X project this year!
Voicing his mild frustration with sitting on the shelf while he is ready to take the game over with his music, X’s insistence to give fans some music is admirable. According to his majour announcement, X will drop what we assume to be a mixtape (EP?) titled 3QuarterPace next Tuesday.
Maybe another contender for man of the year? We can’t wait!
