Over the weekend, Lupe Fiasco suprised his fans with an unannounced mixtape titles Pharaoh Height 2/30, and it’s free!!!
The title is presumably a play on the 2004 Michale Moore documentary Fahrenheit 911 takes a critical look at the presidency of George W. Bush, the War on Terror, and its coverage in the news media.
The tracklist contains six tracks, which when read in order from first to last, form the sentence In Valleys Of Kings Pyramid Schemes; because what would a Lupe project be without some hidden gems and cryptic messages?
We would break down the content of the tape for you, but we’d prefer you listen to it yourself and let us know what you think. (Truth is we don’t quite get all of it yet either because we’re not smart or insane enough to relate to Lupe’s content so we’re giving it a few days).
