One of Swaziland’s biggest festivals invited HYPE out to witness this year’s craze. And judging by the crowd and social media, the festival was nothing short of brilliant.
This year’s festival had some of SA’s biggest artists hit the stage. The hardest working man in music Anatii hit the stage and performed his hit track ‘The Saga’ ft. AKA. It didn’t end there but performed tracks he was featured on such as ‘Ghetto’ by Cassper and ‘My Own’ by DJ Milkshake. Straight after he LIT the stage, the Durban based trio hit the stage and was which officially made it their first appearance in Swaziland. The trio’s performance was full energy ahead performing the best of The Blow Up mixtape hits such as ‘Tsekede’ ft. Tamarsha and ‘Izass’. But it didn’t stop there, they continued the performance by adding Anatii in the mix and performed the DJ Dimplez hit song ‘Yaya’ and got the crowd hooked onto every dance move.
One of the night’s biggest performers Riky Rick received the biggest response from the crowd when he performed some of his biggest hits to date ‘Boss Zonke’ and ‘Nafukwa’ from his latest album Family Values. Riky came out to the concert for the first time and the crowd was more than happy to have him blow up the stage. Closing the performances was none other than the Platinum selling artist Cassper Nyovest. The rapper performed hits such as ‘Doc Shebeleza’, ‘Phumakim’ and ‘Slyza Tsotsi’ and brought on his homie Riky to join him.
