The event that celebrates the growth of hip hop in Swaziland and Southern Africa is underway this year. The annual Hipnotik Music Festival partnering with Homecoming Picnic Events from Pretoria are planning to make it an even bigger and better experience.
In previous years, Swaziland has had the pleasure of hosting artists such as platinum selling rapper Cassper burning up the stage along with Pro Kid, Red Button, Reason and Kwesta to name a few. The first act announced that is set to hit the stage is none other than Durban based group Dreamteam. The SA Hip Hop Award winning trio for Best Mixtape is set to drop their debut album Dreams Never Die in July.
“We are taking things to the next level this year and we will do our best to ensure that we deliver only the best for our fans.” Nkambule founder of the Hipnotik Festival said. The festival kicks off on the 11th of July in El Paradiso (Greyhound) in Ezulwini.
