Another one from BEASTrand, Priddy Ugly has finally dropped his latest video for the track ‘Cocaine Ghost’.
The video, directed by Nkululeko Lebambo, is super clean and boasts exceptional quality. It opens with a screenshot explaining the ‘Cocaine philosophy’ : Cocoaine Ghost is a state of mind that depends on self fulfilment rather than lavish external riches. It also features his lady, bombshell professional dancer Bontle Modiselle, who is known for being the lead actress in Africa’s first dance movie Hear Me Move, currently in theatres.
No rookie to the game, Priddy Ugly’s collaboration with AKA and Xstatic ‘Hit em up’ receieved a Channel O nomination in 2013, and he also featured on Amu’s 2011 SAMA winning album.
Now he is doing it on his own and hoping to stir things up. With co-signs from the likes of AKA and Slikour, and bone chilling lyrical moments on his single ‘Reminder to Myself’, he might just do it.
