Among the many condolences pouring in from industry and non-industry folk, both HHP and Teargas’s Ntukza have decided to pay their respects in the best way they know how: through song.
This morning HHP, who shared a story on Intsgram a few years ago about how Flabba inspired him to pursue music as a career when they were in varsity together, dropped a track called ‘Flabba Rea Lela’ (‘We are crying’), in which he reminisces on good times together and sends his best wishes.
Ntukza, also a close friend of the Skwatta Kamp rapper, dropped ‘Flabba We Miss You’, in which he raps : “You were one of the realest from the day I met you; can’t ever compare you to none of these fakes.”

Flabba’s memorial service, curated by band member Slikour will be held on Wednesday at Baseline (10 Henry Nxumalo Street) in Newtown. The service will be from 12am to 2pm and friends, family and fans are all welcome to attend.
