Heal the Hood Project Youth Activism Tour kicks off on from 1-28 December touring libraries throughout the Western Cape. All workshops are free and aims to create a Heal The Hood Project Youth Activism group at each library and area. Emile YX? and his team will be showing a short documentary about the work they’ve done with men from Lavender Hill and then showcase their skills and share information on how youth can get involved in creating a book, CD and numerous events that will give locals an opportunity to not only release their creations, but get an opportunity to travel internationally with one of Heal The Hood Projects Exchange Projects. Emile YX? & Mixed Mense will come along to share how YOUTH ACTIVISM IS A MUST for real democracy and change to come about.
