Fresh of his Apollo Theater performance in New York, Tumi Molekane’s highly anticipated single, ‘IN DEFENCE OF MY ART’, has officially been released. Featuring Ziyon from Liquid deep as well as Tumi’s labelmate and protege, Reason, the single sees him bring together his traditional lyrical dexterity, with his immaculate story telling abilities and incorporates a new age bounce that sees the MC in a new light.
“This song is about defending your right to be who you are in the world. For me it’s about being able to make the kind of thought provoking music I want,” says Tumi.
