On 23 June police were called to a home in Los Angeles where a woman and baby were found. According to the woman, her ex-boyfriend of 3 years, Curtis Jackson came to her house and damaged her property after she and the G-Unit rapper got involved in a heated argument. Police reported that the rooms were ransacked and that clothes were strewn about and items including chandeliers, furniture and a television was broken.
The woman also alleges that she locked herself in the bedroom but Jackson kicked down the door and proceeded to kick her. Formally charged with domestic violence and four counts of vandalism to the value of over $7,000, 50 Cent will appear in court on 22 July. If found guilty he could face jail time or $46,000 in fines. Jackson’s legal advisors have yet to comment.
The rapper has a role in Escape Plan alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Vinnie Jones, which is out later this year. Will he find himself in jail when the movie premiers over these charges? We highly doubt that. Either way kids, just say no to baby mama drama.
