Fresh off the release of his 5th album which dropped 13 November called The World’s Most Hardest MC Project, Styles P took some time with Allhiphop.com to talk about his top artists, dead or alive. Naturally as an affiliate of Bad Boy and as a member of The Lox with Jadakiss, Styles included Biggie, and also name-dropped Rakim, Kool G and KRS One.
He went on to talk about Biggie’s music, saying that he loved all his music, particularly that on his platinum selling Life After Death album. When asked about the lyricists he respected he listed Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Nas and Jadakiss among others.
Look out for The World’s Most Hardest MC project and decipher if you think Styles deserves this title. The 11 track album includes guest appearances by Lox affiliates like Sheek Louch, Bucky, Snyp, Large Amount and A.P. Notably missing is Styles’ partner in rhyme Jadakiss *scratching our heads.
